| History | The watch was a gift from California Highway Patrol to Dave Zebo from Eureka Squad in 1956. Dave Zebo was one of the pioneers CHP Patrol on the Golden Gate Bridge from the opening in 1937 until 1949. He was also the DIRECTOR OF AVIATION The Dial was completely black (AOPA) at the beginning. Was sent in 1966 for service at Breitling and the dial was replaced with the newer Reverse panda Dial for better visibility per Dave’s request. Dave Zebo died in 1999 at age 89 The watch was worn on and off by him and serviced regularly. |
